Shipping, Payment and Returns

Tbilisi

In Tbilisi, a member of the DALEA team hand-delivers your piece at a time agreed with you. There is no charge. You may inspect the bag before signing for it, and if you have chosen to pay in cash, payment is made at that moment.

The rest of Georgia

Outside Tbilisi, we send by insured courier at no charge. Delivery takes 1 to 3 business days from dispatch. The courier will call to arrange a time, and a signature is required on receipt.

International

We ship worldwide by DHL Express. Delivery takes 3 to 7 business days from dispatch, depending on the destination. Shipping is charged at cost and stated in your invitation before you pay. Import duties, VAT and any customs fees in the destination country are payable by the recipient and are not included in our price. DHL will contact you to settle them before delivery.

Insurance and tracking

Every parcel is insured for its full value and requires a signature on delivery. A tracking number is sent to your email address on dispatch. If a parcel arrives damaged, note the damage with the courier at the door and tell us within 48 hours at atelier@dalea.ge. We handle the claim; you do not deal with the courier or the insurer. If the piece cannot be repaired, we refund you in full.

Payment methods

• Bank transfer in Georgian lari to the account stated in your invitation.
• Card payment through a secure payment link sent to your email address.
• Cash on hand-delivery, in Tbilisi only.

We accept no other route, and we never ask for card details by phone or message.

When payment is taken

Payment is requested only after you have received an invitation and confirmed that you would like the piece. Nothing is charged at registration. Your invitation states the payment deadline, and the piece is held for you until then. Your order is confirmed when we acknowledge receipt of payment, and we then agree a delivery date with you.

Gift wrapping

Every piece comes in its cotton dust bag inside a rigid black box, with its numbered certificate. Gift wrapping is included. Tell us at confirmation if the piece is a gift and whether you would like a handwritten card. If the gift is a surprise, we can deliver to the giver rather than the recipient.

Right of withdrawal

Under the Law of Georgia on the Protection of Consumer Rights, you may withdraw from a distance purchase within 14 calendar days of receiving the piece, without giving a reason. Tell us within that period and return the piece within 7 calendar days of your notice, with its tag, certificate, dust bag and box. You may examine the bag as you would in a shop.

How to return

1. Email atelier@dalea.ge within 14 days of receipt, stating your certificate number and that you wish to withdraw. Any clear statement is enough; a model withdrawal form is available on request.
2. Within Georgia, we arrange and pay for collection at a time that suits you. Internationally, you arrange and pay for return shipping; we recommend an insured, tracked service.
3. Pack the bag as it arrived: tissue inside, dust bag, box, certificate and tag.
4. We inspect the piece on arrival and confirm the refund by email.

Refunds

We refund the full price within 14 days of your withdrawal notice, to the payment method you used, and may withhold the refund until the piece or proof of its dispatch reaches us. International shipping charges and any duties paid in the destination country are not refunded. If a returned piece shows handling beyond what is needed to examine it, or is missing its certificate, tag, dust bag or box, we may reduce the refund by the loss in value, and we will tell you before doing so.

Personalised pieces

A piece embossed with your initials is made to your instruction and cannot be sold again as new. Personalised pieces are therefore excluded from the right of withdrawal. Embossing is offered only after invitation, and we confirm this exclusion with you in writing before the work is done. The guarantee applies to personalised pieces in full.
